Salvia 'Midnight Model' FASHIONISTA®

Midnight Model has a classic salvia look with blue/purple blooms that emerge in late spring and stay just to the peak of summer. Like most salvia Midnight Model is easy to care for and has excellent garden performance. Provided it is in full sun, Midnight Model will stay round and dense as it grows providing you with blues and purples in the midsection of border gardens, cottage gardens or planted containers.

Midnight Model is a hybrid variation of the classic Midnight Marvel saliva. We are big fans of the Walter Gardens Fashionista collection of salvia .These hybrids are easy to care for and bloom in mass with and outstanding selection of color.

Salvia 'Midnight Model' FASHIONISTA®

Easy to grow in almost any climate, saliva is a tough drought resistant plant. During the bloom period it does benefit from additional water and will perform better if watered regularly from spring into mid-summer. Deadheading the plants will encourage new blooms to come on. You can cut them all the way back to the newest foliage at the base of the plant if they become leggy, if cut back the plants may also rebloom, but usually the flowers won't be as voluminous as the first bloom. This is a great plant for beginning gardeners.
