Red Rocket Red Maple

If you have always wanted the brilliant, red fall colors of the red maple in your landscape but do not have the space or desire for a large shade tree then you need to look at the 'Red Rocket' cultivar. The 'Red Rocket' has all the characteristics of the red maple but with a slender, conical shape. These maples have large clusters of red flowers that look like little fireworks popping out in the early spring and though they are not known for their flowering, maples are some of the first to bring color after a long winter. They also get big, green leaves that provide some shade to your home or yard. So now you can picture those bright, red leaves highlighting your small urban yard or plant multiples to line a driveway.
