This moderately sized evergreen brings year round color and is usable in a wide-variety of landscapes. Topping out at around 15 to 20 feet, but only 5 to 8 ft wide, Pinpoint Gold is useful for green/yellow color and as an anchor evergreen in the home landscape. The narrow vertical nature of this plant makes it useful in a variety of arrangements and means it can be used in spaces where other trees simply might not fit. Due to it's symmetry and clean habit, Pinpoint can be used to line out a foundation planting or as a privacy barrier. What makes it unique from other more traditional native cypress is the golden-yellow color that highlights new growth. This growth persists year long and pairs well with purples, pinks, blues, and even darker greens. If you are searching for an evergreen accent tree or shrub that is low maintenance and can tolerate drought Pinpoint Gold is a good option for you.
