The 'Old Glory’ lilac is a beautiful, fragrant shrub with abundant bluish-purple flowers. It has a nice, rounded growth habit, and is more disease resistant lilac. The large, purple flower clusters will create an attraction for any garden. It does well as a background plant in a flower bed, a shrub border, and even as a lone specimen plant. With their early spring bloom period lilacs offer some of the first color to a landscape and its fragrance is the very essence of spring.
