'Adobe Orange' is an outstanding true orange coneflower. It just pops in the garden. Part of the 'Sombrero' series this plant boast large fade-resistant blooms in an outstanding bold orange. These coneflowers are of medium height and work well in the middle to back of beds, under windows against fences and under trees. The blooms are profuse and the color of orange is truly fantastic and works hard from summer well into fall.
You can't go wrong with echinacea. We carry a multitude of cultivars and colors for just that reason. They are easy to grow and reward the lazy gardener with months of full beautiful blooms that just keep coming. Pollinators are big fans of the native and nativar varieties flocking to the flowers through the summer and well into the fall. Echinacea comes in many varieties both short and tall. They can be used in a wide variety of garden applications including border gardens, container plantings and naturalization into a larger area. They make great cut flowers. The seeds feed finches and other birds through the cold months, while also maintaining a structural interest through the winter months. I could go on... let's just leave it at we love them and you should too!

Echinacea Sombrero Adobe Orange - Coneflower
Coneflower, also known as echinacea, is a wonderful perennial native to the U.S. midwest and prairies. It does best in a light loamy soil, but will do well in any well-drained soil. Full sunlight and heat are best for full flowering, while they can tolerate some light shade, we recommend at least 6 hours of full sun each and every day. Once established they are very drought resistant making them a great plant for those looking for a low water/ low maintenance garden. As a perennial flower, if cared for correctly echinacea will return with new growth each year.
