Beloved for its long blooming season and tolerance to neglect, yarrow is an outstanding plant for any garden. The large clusters of small white flowers of Firefly Diamond provide an outstanding contrast, which highlight the colors of your garden's poppers and showstoppers. We love it paired with pink, red, or purple, but honestly it will improve any color by creating a consistent blooming white canvas that can last from June until the first freeze.
The moon itself is not immune to the charms of this flower. On a clear night, when the moon blooms above your garden, the dim light will pop Firefly like a lightning bug in the darkness. The flat planes of flowers make it an outstanding choice for an all white moon garden.
Firefly's foliage has a light airy texture with consistent deep green color and consistent shape, regardless of weather conditions. It is especially drought tolerant.
Topping out at nearly 2ft. Firefly Achillea keeps an excellent shape with blooms topping flowers at a consistent height building a plane of nicely spaced white for a neat shape in the garden. Yarrow's tolerance to poor soil conditions mean that this plant can succeed where others have failed. Simply put, it is a top plant that beginners and masters know and love.
