The Pink Flowering Almond displays a burst of showy, bright pink, frilly blooms before leaves unfold in spring. This is one of the first shrubs to bloom in early spring. Lacy sprays of tiny pink double blooms fill the yard with delicate perfume. This striking specimen shrub grows 3-5 ft. tall with a spiky, upright habit. Pink Flowering Almond prefers full sun and well-drained light garden soil. The flowering almond is very hardy and the blossoms are double pink and prolific.
